The Ben Franklin Technology Partners is one of the nation’s longest-running technology-based economic development programs. SBDC Bucknell University

The Small Business Development Centers (SBDC) provide one-on-one consulting, educational programs, and information to pre-venture, start-up, and existing small businesses located in the Central PREP Region. Consulting is confidential and provided at no charge by a staff of skilled professionals that emphasize education and guidance in finding practical solutions to business problems. The SBDC program is a cooperative effort between the private sector, the educational community and federal, state, and local governments. The Bucknell University SBDC serves Juniata, Montour, Northumberland, Snyder and Union counties.

Innovative Manufacturers' Center

IMC is a private-public partnership that contributes to the economic growth in Central Pennsylvania through an engaged staff that provide the manufacturers of our region with objective advice, strategic perspective, high value services and solutions through access to regional, state and national resources. The IMC serves Centre, Clinton, Juniata, Lycoming, Mifflin, Montour, Northumberland, Snyder and Union counties.

SBDC Lock Haven University

The Pennsylvania Technical Assistance Program (PennTAP)

The Pennsylvania Technical Assistance Program (PennTAP) is an extension of Penn State University which helps Pennsylvania companies improve their competitiveness by providing technical assistance and information to help resolve specific technical questions or needs. The entire Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is served through a network of technical specialists who have specific areas of technical expertise and are located throughout the state. Technical assistance specialties include new product development, energy, environmental health and safety, advanced IT and ISO 50001.

SEDA-COG

SEDA-Council of Governments (SEDA-COG) is a public development organization serving 11 Central Pennsylvania counties. SEDA-COG is overseen by a Board of elected officials, business people, and area residents; and staffed by professionals with expertise in such fields as transportation, international sales, information technology, and financial packaging. We work with the region’s counties, communities, companies, and individuals. We help them – and you - make things happen. SEDA-COG serves Centre, Clinton, Columbia, Juniata, Lycoming, Mifflin, Montour, Northumberland, Snyder and Union counties.
